expected to release a high definition version of its Slingbox device.

According to News.com, a new Slingbox is in the works that includes component video input, allowing the device to receive and transmit high definition content.
Sling Media was acquired this week by Echostar. While the company will still sell Slingbox devices independently, analysts expect it will also become a part of the satellite company's service plans.
The new Slingbox is expected to be priced at around $180.
